Marion D. Aldridge was born in Savannah, GA and raised in North Augusta, SC. His parents were charter members of the George Whitefield United Methodist Church in Savannah, and faithful members of Immanuel Baptist Church in North Augusta, where his dad was a deacon. Marion attended Clemson University and received Master and Doctoral degrees from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Ky. Marion has pastored First Baptist in Batesburg, SC, Greenlawn Baptist in Columbia, SC, and has served as Coordinator of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of SC since June 1, 1998. He is married to Sally and has two adult daughters, Jenna and Julie. Marion especially enjoys fishing and baseball games with his grandson, Lake.
