From the Upstate
(Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson areas)
Take I-26 east and just
before Columbia you will see signs for I-126. Follow these signs, as this
will take you into downtown. As you pass the Greystone Blvd./Riverbanks Zoo
exit, stay in the right-hand lane and take the Huger Street exit. Then, get
in the left-hand lane because 3 lights later you will take a left onto Lady
Street. There is a short left-hand turn lane here and in front of you on
the left will be an old cream colored building with ‘Columbia Cigar & Candy
Co.’ in black letters on it. Go up Lady Street to the first light and one
block past that take a left onto Lincoln Street. Our building will be the
red brick building on your right with white letters at the top, which say
“The Luther Lee Building/ 1314 Lincoln Street.” We are in Suite 308. There
are two small parking lots and adjacent street parking. There is also
another marked parking lot around the corner.
From Charleston on I-26:
Take I-26 west and get
off at the airport exit (Exit # 113). You will take a right off the exit
onto Highway #302 or Charleston Highway (same thing). Follow this road
approximately 3-4 miles. Along the way, you will pass a K-Mart on your
left, a Chevrolet dealership on the right and Farm Bureau Insurance building
on your left. After Farm Bureau, take a left at the very next light. This
will be state Street. At the next traffic light take a right and this will
be Gervais Street once you cross the bridge. At the second left after you
cross the river, take a left. At the traffic light, take a right onto Lady
Street and you will see the Luther Lee Building on your left (our building
is actually on Lincoln Street). It is the red brick building with white
letters at the top, which read “Luther Lee Building/1314 Lincoln Street,”
and we are in Suite 308. There are two small parking lots, adjacent
parking, and another marked parking lot around the corner.
From Beaufort:
Take I-95 and connect
with I-26 eastbound and follow the “From Charleston” directions.
From Cheraw:
Connecting with I-20
westbound possibly via #401 or whatever route you deem best. Take I-20 west
and exit on #277 to Columbia. #277 will end and become Bull Street. At the 3rd
light after the freeway ends, take a right onto Elmwood Avenue. There will
be right hand turn arrow here. At the 3rd or 4th
light, I believe, take a left onto Assembly Street. There will also be 2
turning lanes with left-hand turn arrows here. Follow Assembly Street and
stay in the right hand lane because about 6 more traffic lights down
Assembly you will take a right hand turn on Lady Street. One block after the
stoplight on Lady, you will turn right onto Lincoln Street and our building
is immediately on the left behind some fenced in electrical transformers.
It’s red brick building with white letters at the top, which read “The
Luther Lee Building/1314 Lincoln Street.” There are 2 adjacent parking lots
and street parking. We are in Suite 308. There is also a marked lot around
the corner if the first two lots are full.
From Rock Hill,
Charlotte:
In Rock Hill, take I-77
southbound and connect with I-20 west (toward Augusta) as you near
Columbia. Follow the same directions as “From Cheraw.”
From Atlanta:
Take I-20 east (toward
Augusta & Columbia). As you near Columbia, you will want to exit onto I-26
east (toward Charleston). When you get on I-26, stay in either of the 2
left lanes and follow I-126 onto Downtown Columbia (you will leave I-26 at
this point as it bears to the right toward Charleston). You will then pass
an exit to Greystone Boulevard/Riverbanks Zoo (the SC Baptist Convention
building can be seen on your left at this exit). Just past this exit, you
will want to be in either of the two right hand lanes. About ¾ mile past the
Greystone exit, you will want to exit onto Huger Street (it’s actually a
sharp curve to the right).
Then, get in the
left-hand lane because three lights later you will take a left onto Lady
Street. There is a short left-hand turn lane here and in front of you on the
left will be an old cream-colored building with “Columbia Cigar & Candy Co.”
in black letters on it. Go up Lady Street to the first light and one block
past that take a left onto Lincoln Street (Lincoln St. is split by a grassy
walk-through). Our building will be the red brick building on your right
with white letters at the top, which say “The Luther Lee Building/1314
Lincoln Street.” We are on the third floor in Suite 308. There are two
small parking lots and adjacent street parking. There is also another marked
parking lot around the corner.
